The last time I downloaded anything through Widefrog was about 2 months ago. This is the first and only URL I tried, after which I came here to check if there was maybe a new version available for the tool. I have not checked whether it is working fine for other URL's.

Hello. I won't publish this on github due to a variety reasons. One of them is that I intend to be the only main contributor to its source code. Sure, a bug code fix is always appreciated but this forum post is enough to just propose a small code snippet to fix something. Plus, more people just download the exe file, so it's not worth it for me the hassle.

If you have coding skills and like to write services, then go for devine. They have documentation and you can look at how others wrote their own services. I won't add documentation/template for this tool, since, as I said, I'm the only one responsible for maintaining it.

As for rtlplay, I won't add it since I don't have access to that site via free vpns.

An account is required to play a video in browser, but there is no 'Service Credentials' for FranceTV in config.json file.

Bonjour. You don't need an account to download from them, even if they restrict the video playing to an account. You can use the python version with the fix from post #256. It will be included in the next version in the exe file as well.

Make sure you use the proper URL ending in "/videos". You can access by clicking on "Voir tout" at the bottom of the show page. Also check you put the right credentials. If still problems, try a fresh install.

Hello. For francetv and rmcbfmtv, it works both times for me and I can't reproduce the error. And for m6, I can't access the video so I can't fix if there's any bug. Tried for videos that I can access and use DRM, and it works. I guess you should try again and if it still doesn't work, use another way of downloading that is meant to be more general.
