CBeebies Radio DIRECT link for Pure Radio

There is not specific section for "Audio Streaming" so I am asking here.


CBeebies Radio has been on the Internet since 2007 and then since 2013 it streams online 6:00 am to 10:00 pm

It's now 2024 and the station does not appear on our Pure Radio
and it's missing " CBeebies Radio" station from the list of Internet Stations...
(Don't get me started on why the station it's not available on BBC National DAB network.......
that could be especially useful on long car journeys.....)

So I searched and none of the websites that I usually go to for DIRECT links has
any info on what the URL link is :( and it's missing from the radio,
so that makes me thing there is going to be something more behind it ....

There is no Wiki specifically for Radio, but CBeebies mentions the station

but the Radio throws and error and playing the link in VLC on PC does not work either ....

All Radio lists the station

Does anyone know if and how to get the DIRECT link to add to our Pure Radio?

The radio does not offer in the menu of Internet stations the new Streaming ONLY ones

Strange, BBC Radio2 that the Radio can stream, has a URL:

What is the difference between CBeebies radio and CBeebies TV?
Many countries broadcast the CBeebies TV channel on satellites and streaming in their kids packages.
For example in Poland (unfortunately it is in Polish only I think) but other countries like The Netherlands or Sweden might offer it also in English. You just need to do some fingers search to find out if this is something that can help you.

Out of curiosity I checked my internet radio Technisat Techniradio 6 S IR and searched the CBeebies radio channel.
I got it on the screen and underneath CBeebies podcasts.
But when I selected both I got an error message "Cannot open selected media".
Not sure if this is because of geo restriction or something else.

As I mention the "ww" version (World Wide) does not work
So only UK .....

Its a really god way to get the kids OFF the TV and onto Radio ...
No Adverts as well help

A bit off topic but how is your Pure Radio?
My Technisat Techniradio 6 S IR has a flimsy USB Micro USB which I use for charging. It just came off and when I opened the radio trying to fix it, one of the loudspeakers connectors which uses Molex type connector was glued so it came off from the board. I expected better from a well known company like Technisat, but anything made in China seems to last a very short time. I have a Sony (Made in Japan) FM radio is still working after 30 years.
