Failed attempt to download a DRM-free movie from cda.pl using N_m3u8DL-RE.

I'm trying to download a DRM-free movie using N_m3u8DL-RE

Unfortunately, when trying to download, the following message appears:

I tried adding headers but unfortunately I get the same error as above.
What should I do to be able to download this video using N_m3u8DL-RE?

Looks like more of a system-specific issue rather than a N_m3u8DL-RE one.

Additionally, you should be pointing to the MPD URL of the video, and not to the actual file, DRM or not.

I'm unable to test this at my end as I get

ERROR: One or more errors occurred. (Response status code does not indicate success: 403 (Forbidden).)

What's the video URL? I don't mean what you posted, but the page where it's embedded, the original URL.

Edit: Weird, the url may be tied to IP? Tried it with a proxy and it doesn't work. Tried it in incognito and it works.

I think you're approaching this problem with the wrong tool. Why use N_m3u8 on mp4? If you can see the video on your browser and the mp4 url you get from network requests (from your side) can be accessed directly, why not right click save as?

N_m3u8DL-RE work to download from m3u8/mpd (download video/audio segments)

if you need to download mp4 file, use simply IDM or also yt-dlp with flag -o video.mp4

I added the flag you wrote about, but the message appears:

Can you help me add the appropriate header? because I'm trying to add it, but unfortunately this problem still persists.

grzech67 I also use IDM, but I am very curious what a correctly formatted template with a header for use by yt-dlp should look like for the cda.pl website (DRM-free materials).

aqzs: I was using an older version of yt-dlp and that was the reason it didn't want to download correctly and wanted the headers now everything works beautifully

I know the problem got solved but apparently, you can use N_m3u8 even with mp4. You just gotta make a temp m3u8 that has one fragment pointing to that mp4 URL. Bit of a hack, but it's nice if you want to automate things without using a lot of separate tools.
