  1. Ok my problem i am having is with dvd2avi. The movie i ripped was Behind Enemy Lines and it had DTS sound. When i convert the vob files i get just the project file and no wave file at all(the big one), and this is the only movie i have had this problem, so i assume it's because of DTS sound. Please help-any tips?

I had the same problem with this movie, I selected track 2 on the audio menu of DVD2AVI. It then worked ok but it took longer to process 8)

  3. i believe the latest dvd2avi (dunno which version) can now decode DTS just like DD...but otherwise, do as n8tvm sez and choose the DD track 2

  5. Sorry about my stupid question:
I went to DVD2AVI's official website but cannot find version 1.86 but 1.76?
Also I tried other audio track on this movie but it'll only rip 3 vob files. The only thing that'll work is to tip with DTS audio. But I need to get the audio out so I can use it with TMPGEnc...
I suspect that there's some kind of protective mechanism because if you look at the surface, the outter half of th disc has this weird pattern...

  6. Try using stream processing in smartripper to get the video and dts audio file. You will have to transcode the video, i did when i made a backup then you can put it in a authoring proggie. Only scenarist and maestro will accept dts.

Or you could always use IFOEdit

  8. I had them same problem. 2 solutions. Use vob2audio to create the wav you want. Or use dvd2avi and choose demux all tracks under dolby digital then use besweet to convert the ac3 file to wav or mp2. The vob2audio will be the quickest and easiest. Download it here http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Audio/v2a.zip
