  1. Every time cut an .avi file, the sound always seems to be about a half second off from the video. I use virtualdub or vcdcutter to cut my avi files and they both seem to have that problem. What do i do and how do i fix it?

actully, after i cut the avi file it still works, its just when i burn it to vcd svcd, the sound gets messed up? Why is it that when i burn the sound gets messed up?!?!?!?!

u burned an .avi to an (S)VCD directly? did you convert the .avi to .mpg first? if you did, did the .mpg have outta sync audio too or just when you burn the .mpg as (S)VCD?

if the latter is the case, make sure you burn no faster than 4x
