Panasonic PV-GS90 - Control don't work

I bought this camcorder model, but the remote control isn't working, at least for this camcorder. I tested it on another Panasonic camcorder and it worked. This control was in the box along with the accessories. Maybe it's not for this camera model or the camera sensor is defective?

no remote comes with the camera, and appears to not have a remote sensor, so the remote must go to a different camera.

I also believe that this remote control is not from this camera, but there seems to be a type of receptive sensor, I marked it in green. I saw this same model in some photos and videos on the internet and it seems that some don't have it.

It could be a blank which used only on more expensive models for the provision of, for example, a USB Mini B socket.

Added: it looks like the "NV" version does have a USB connector in there. Page 35 of this manual:

Yes, this remote control must have come by mistake, from another camera.
