    Hello Members:

Greetings to all at my second post.

I am writing this after getting drowned into the soup with my Encoding. It affects my Blu-ray encoding also.

    My Story:

As I have been realizing that my previous system configuration was so tiresome and time taking even to encode a 576p from Blu-ray; I upgraded my machine a little bit.
    Now, the configuration is –
    1. 6 core Intel Processor.
    2. 500 GB SSD (not NVMe).
    3. 32 GB DDR 4 RAM@2666MHz.
    4. GB H310M – M2.2.0 (MB).
    5. Last, not the least, Operating System Windows 11 PRO 64 bit.
    6. Sapphire (AMD 500/550 supported) 4 GB DDR5 Graphics Card (sorry bit I had to buy this cheaper one for budget constraint).
All I did with an expectation to make a fast and more upscaled 576p & 720p from Blu-ray and regular SDRip (i.e., from DVD). And don’t think that I am a PRO in this field; rather I consider myself as a novice one (indeed I am).

My all experience is based on 32 bit; I am totally new in the realm of 64 bit (viz. I’ve never seen linux, I saw Mac for 5 min (max) in my life); so please feel free to advise me if any kind soul thinks fit and proper.
    Accordingly, I downloaded –
    1. Dot net 4.8.1 & Dot net 4.8
    2. DirectX 12
    3. VC++ Redistributable from 2008 – 2022 (both bit).
    4. A Stable Run time java version (Java 8 411).

In case of indispensible software -
    1. AvsPmod_v2.7.7.2_.Windows_x86-6.
    2. AviSynth+ 3.7.3 (Windows Version)
    3. MeGUI 2913 (64 bit as I feel familiar with it)
    4. Eac3to, Nero Decoder and Encoder.
    5. VirtualDub2_44282
    6. mkvtoolnix-64-bit-83.0
    7. Subtitle Edit, Suprip, BDSup2Sub.
    8. K-Lite_Codec_Pack_Mega (v. 18.3.0)
    9. Ffmpeg – They are loaded

What’s left for a CPU based encoding? As of now, nothing rings any bell in my mind. Please do feel free if you’ve got any query in order to help me.
Let me fix this CPU based encoding first. Then I’ll ask you what could be done to get some benefit GPU for encoding (if exists at all).
    • All stuffs mentioned above were installed successfully. But the strange thing (strange is to me) is AviSynth+ 3.7.3 was installed in Program Files (x86) folder on its own (I just double clicked the application/.exe file of AviSynth+ 3.7.3 i.e., I didn’t manipulate it anyway).
    • I have had a plugin bag and all plugins (beforehand, don’t know whether they are updated version or not BUT it was for AviSynth+) have been placed in AviSynth+ sub folder of Program files(x86) folder in program files in 4 folders carefully.
    • Nero Encoder was placed and executed from Eac3to folder.
    • I just put avisynth++ (I have thought that execution of things like FF3W plugin will be better to be done later)

    Any suggestion, my friends?

    Personal Regards,

    Hi. Greetings to all.

For primal information, I use the MeGUI 2913 (64-bit) version for encoding purposes (for DVD, 1080p, and 2160p), but I don’t know how to use the handbrake. So all of my queries are directly related to MeGUI where I can understand and might be able to answer conceptual stuff related to handbrake. I don’t use the advanced versions of MeGUI as after 2913, the entire layout of it has been changed, and I dislike learning new things until the thing becomes indispensable.

Now let me tell you what I did to fetch a temporary solution; I mentioned earlier that I had a large bag of .dll files for avisynth+ (there it each .dll file was categorized into four bags viz. 32, 32+, 64, 64+); I copied and pasted them minutely. The LSMASHSource.dll was disturbing initially; then I just downloaded another 64-bit LSMASHSource.dll from the 'dll library' and precisely, that’s how reached a temporary solution.

Anyway, LSMASHSource.dll is not a big problem as of now; - rather it is the QTGMC without which I can’t imagine encoding DVD and in some critical cases, some Blu-rays; especially the extra parts.

My problem is I forgot how to execute some crucial .dlls like fftw3.dll, libfftw3f-3.dll i.e. the whole pack of FFT3DF Filter; as a result, I cannot use Preset and hence, EZDenoise, Rep module, DCT etc. I knew one easy way; - but forgot as I did it ages ago in my 32-bit machine; only the last thing I can remember; - renaming libfftw3f-3.dll as fftw3.dll or something like that in the 'System32' folder.

I can’t use the MCTemporalDenoise module either due to a non-functional FFT3DF Filter. I have become unable to make use of Yadiff also.

Could any kind soul tell me how to register it through the .cmd prompt?

BTW, I have all versions of QTGMC with me.

Another problem is related to Audio Encoding which I’m facing after shifting from 32-bit to 64-bit; - I cannot downmix 5.1 to stereo i.e. 2.0. I use FFmpeg AC-3 as Encoder where the preferred Decoder is LWlibavAudioSource.
For a piece of your possible positive information, Nero Encoder, Nero Decoder, and the ffmpeg have been installed in the eac3to folder of MeGUI.

Any kind of expertise voice is there upfront so that not only me, but all novice users like me could get help from your kind answers or suggestions also.

Looking forward to this hand-holding support.

    Sincerely,
