  1. Dear Friends,
I am a newbie for video editing, is this pc good enough for video editing and video rendering quickly? (my current pc is old and it is very slow to render my video projects). So I am thinking about buying this.

    Desktop Vostro 3020MT (i7)13th generation
    intel core i7 - 13700 Processor (16 core, 24MB Cache, 2.1GHz to 5.1GHz)
    - Memory 8GB DDR4 3200MHz
    - Harddisk M.2 PCIe SSD 512GB
    - Window 11 Home Single Language License
    - Intel UHD Graphics 770 with shared graphics memory

  3. As John said 8gb is way too little but the 512gb SSD is also too small.

I would go with 32gb ram and 2tb storage.

Both my computers have 16gb ram and can run out of ram easily when working with svt-av1 encoding or with certain filter combinations.

The problem with video editing is that a PC can work hard and needs a good way to get rid of the heat.

Looks like the CPU is being cooled with just a fan
Before buying this computer, try to find out more about the cooling information.
