downloading vod through m3u8

hi. i am very new here and i want to learn how to download vods. through searching and reading i learned about m3u8 and had some programs installed as well. but after i download the meta json i don't seem to know what to do next. i would appreciate if someone would teach me how to do it thank you so much.

Add --live-pipe-mux to your command, it will generate a .ts file you can play. Or use streamlink which is better suited for live events.

Yes, although streamlink doesn't support DRM protected content. For that you should go with N_m3u8DL-RE with --live-pipe-mux.
