It's been a few months since I last used AVC, and I was not using 8.2! The changes have really thrown me off. Please allow me to ask a couple of questions with regard to the free version of the software:

    1. Has the feature set or capabilities for format conversion been reduced or restricted in any way?

    2. Are they adding watermarks, gimping output files, or doing anything not seen in prior versions?

That's it! I would like to know up front if my time will be well spent learning the new UI and redesigned systems.

    THANK YOU!!!

I know AVC only as MPEG Advanced Video Compression algorithm (H.264).
And a lot of really free software to handle it.
