Hi, Im looking for a userfriendly GUI frontend for yt-dlp. I want to downlod youtube videos or audio.
Any recommendations?

Why do you want to use a frontend for yt-dlp ? it simple as yt-dp URL and if you want more option tou just have to read the doc : https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/?tab=readme-ov-file#usage-and-options

^^ Unless thing have changed, TVDownloader does not natively support yt-dlp.

Having said that, it can support it by renaming the yt-dl program in the TVdownloader folder by inserting yt-dlp in to that and renaming that.


For a native yt-dlp gui one can use yt-dlp-gui. Even then you might require to put the latest version of yt-dlp in to the yt-dlp-gui folder

yt-dlp-gui looks pretty nice, but I don't know why it doesn't save the settings on exit. And why it makes such a mess, there are 3/4 files and a folder when downloading, I want just 1 file, the video ^^

I got the portable version straight from the software section on this site.
