Currently it does not detect the protected stream.
I was playing a DRM video stream with an MPD link.



Also can it be modified to work for Edge browser?

It is simply like this.
In this way, VMPData is forced to be embedded in Android L3 CDM's ClientInfo.
Just prepare client_id.bin and try it.

So with bin client , VMP sign the request...?

Don't know what you're asking here - the solution is the same no matter how often they change the mpd link - search through response content for ".mpd" til you find it.

I was looking at the latest copy of selectRules.conf and noticed wv-keyos.licensekeyserver. This is the service for Kanopy. The latter uses two licence servers https://wv-keyos.licensekeyserver.com/ and https://kcms.kanopy.com/api/v1/playback/widevine_license

Seeing that you have tackled Kanopy with https://wv-keyos.licensekeyserver.com/, can you, if you are so inclined, also peruse https://kcms.kanopy.com/api/v1/playback/widevine_license. It is not the same Challenge scheme (CommonWV) but something that I am presently unable to implement. I suspect that it's a one time use token. So it appears that the process has to be stopped, before the token is used up, and the the challenge guessed.

Could you provide any advice on how to manually get the key or via cdrm, etc? I can't figure out as when I sent the authorization data it keeps telling me I need a licenseid header, and I can't figure it out.

Yes the signature does indeed change - so you can either use an extension like stream detector, or just search browser response info to find the correct link.

I think it is not practical to change this famous MPD link each time
I'm looking for an automated solution, for example a script that can detect new links and send them to the drm panel.

@foxrefire - I've actually figured this out, at least a manual process for getting this. If you are interested in working with me to implement it, shoot me a DM and I can explain what I've found.

EDIT: I actually wrote some code to do it. I haven't familiarized myself with your code at all, so not sure what you need to adapt, but hopefully the basics are here for you to implement easily enough:

I guess the biggest challenge for you in addition to what I wrote is extracting the info from the 'plays' response headers automatically which is a manual step in my process. I'm just dabbling in this, so I'm not sure there is a better way.

you can install it temporarily by putting this link "about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox" in firefox and click on click on the button "change the extension temporarily" then select the file "manifest.json"

Take a look at how the schema is written on the github, and write it yourself - that way everyone can benefit. It's really not too hard

I remember foxrefire did mention starting on something new, but has he stopped developing this project any further? The extension doesnt seem to work on vdocipher still. Dont know if it will now.
