You need a PSSH and license url (like for all license requests), and the json payload, no headers needed. If you want to learn, you should start by reading the sticky threads.

If you don't care about the process and just want to download, I suggest you look up Freevine and/or UK-FTA, which automate this process.

May I ask for help getting the key/video here: https://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-talent/on-demand/75441-001
I looked through the threads but I'm a lot of steps behind and while I'll continue to do research for my own sake, this was a one-off request from my friend.

Conversely, if someone could tell me what I should use to get the key?

If the manifests aren't tokenized/geolocked, it's best just to provide the whole download command. It eliminates any manifest issues
