Avisynth Automatic Renaming

How do I use Avisynth to automatically rename the names of my output files on VirtualDub2? How do I add timestamps to the names using Avisynth?

I don't think there's any way to pass a filename from AviSynth to an editor/encoder. You have to do that at the batch file level.
