  1. Or is there no way to avoid that?

    Even on the screen, not only at capturing.

    It helped someone to lower sharpness, but ofcourse that is not what i want.

    These settings can be found in the monitor's OSD menu under "Picture" or "Display Settings". Experimenting with these settings will help you achieve the desired visual effect without changing the sharpness settings.   3. The sharpener in the VCR causes those haloes. Turn it off. Sharpen in software where you have much more control and many options.
