One, say I export an image sequence of select frames of a video using VirtualDub2 and put them in a folder. Now I want to export another image sequence of different frames and put them in the same folder. How do I do that without overriding the old frames, get new names for the new frames or having to put them in a different folder?
Two, is there a similar tool to VirtualDub2 where I can insert a video, select the frames I want and export them as an image sequence, plus I can also insert subtitle files and make images with the subtitles in them?

Wouldn't it be better to record to a new folder and copy it later?
I would do this:
1. Save to a new folder.
2. If necessary, use the Multirename Tool from Total Commander to rename.
3. Copy to the original folder. -
Just look into the VirtualDub-Image-Export-Dialog, you can specify a prefix and a suffix. So where is the problem?
But I also would use different folders, makes it much easier.
