Hey guys, got a question for you, in order for me to convert a divx with ac3 audio into svcd i need to extract the audio out of the avi, but can anyone give me a run down on how to do this? i have tried graphedit, but i do not fully understand the features and how to with it, and cannot find a guide anywhere on the web on how to extract the audio out of a AVI, there is a shitload of how to's regarding VOBS.   2. if you use virtualdub ac3 (available in doom9.org's downloads) you can load the ac3 avi, and then go to File -->Sav WAV and it will save the ac3 file (name it somethin.ac3 because its not a wav file). Then you can use azid or whatever you normally use to convert it to wav and then to mp2 for SVCD.

  3. yeah i have tried with that virtualdub_ac3 version aswell, and i get the error "ACM failed to suggest audio decompression format", so im back to square one.

  4. was direct stream copy checked in the audio menu? it should be, otherwise it tries to decompress the ac3 (which it can't do).
