I'm looking for a way to put my images onto svcd where i can cointrol when the next image is viewed. I have tried tmpgenc and nero, which did the job fine, although they went by pretty quickly, I wasn't too happy with having to spend hours loading each image to be coded. I also tried using flyvcd wich was nice but gave no control and required all the messing about resizing. Is there something that combines both with the added functionality of letting you have a frame advance via the remote for the dvd.
To be honest i'm quite lost with all this image to vcd/svcd/dvd. I would appreciate any help.
The guides on this site are great but mainly cover movies and slide shows. My ideal is just slightly out of this information.

Try VCDEasy - www.vcdeasy.org
Under TOOLS goto MPEG STILLS. It will convert images to mpg format (it supports recursive drag'n drop so drag them all onto the window to do a bunch in one shot), then you can create an entire compilation with those mpg's.
Choose SVCD and insert all your newly created MPEG stills.
Then, in the INTERACTIVITY options for the compilation, set all the image timeouts to infinity, and poof! You gotta press NEXT or PREV to advance to the next pic. -
Thankyou so much, i was just about knee deep in code for svcd's and my head hurts. The VcdEasy method sounds just up my street.. simple.
Thanks again.
