downloaded an mpd file but resulting mp4 is just a black screen??

i am so new to all of this like extremely new so sorry if i sound idiotic or did all this wrong. but. i managed to download an mpd stream that is drm protected that was streamed live with a 48 hour playback because i saved the mpd link thing from the dev tools. i used a combination of ffmpeg and Xstream-DL-CLI. i ultimately got an mp4 from Xstream-Dl-CLI. unfortunately, the mp4 is literally just a black screen but it is the right length and everything. where i got super lost is that Xstream kept making different folders of m4s segments for the video of varying kbps and gave me multiple black screen mp4s. i ended up terminating the command after the fifth folder because like i said im new to this and was just very confused. so i guess question one is should i have just kept it going and would it have eventually given me a functional mp4. i tried converting the mp4 into mkv via ffmpeg just to see what would happen and it came out as a grey screen with weird interference so i have no idea whats up with that.

anyway moving on. the 48 hours for the playback are LONG up so i cannot access the dev tools for it anymore. i guess my second, and kinda stupid, question is even with the mpd link are my hopes of decrypting gone since i can't get a license link from the dev tools anymore?? i have the mpd file as a pdf and got the pssh from there but theres no license link. i (maybe?) found one and tried the cdrm project but i'm confused by the headers part. i also tried getwvkeys to no luck which is why i think the 48 hours thing is the issue. anyway i am beyond lost so any advice or answers to my dumb questions would be appreciated.
