Hello, and happy to have found this place! I think this would be better for the camcorders forum but didn’t see anything about VHS. Anyhow, I have some major color issues on my JVC GR-C7. As you can see in the photos the color is washed out heavily in blue and pink. When filming in low light it gets even worse where everything is blown overexposed. I’ve used different brand new cassettes but nil change.
I’m capturing from a VHS-C with a tape adapter in a Sharp VCR. RCA cables to capture card and OBS Studio. I’ve has some luck changing gamma, brightness, saturation, etc but it seems to really wash out with whites/overexsposed.
Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated! Cheers
