The thing is, I can't play ANY movies with Dolby TrueHD or Atmos from an external drive connected to the X700 USB port. There's always a warning that pops up saying "Audio format not supported." And it always uses a standard font for subtitles that I can't change. That's why I want to burn them to discs.
I know the skipping is a problem with the disc, because I fast forwarded some scenes frame by frame. For example, there's one part where it starts to fade into a new shot from black, and it goes from that immediately to a fully lit image in the next frame.Last edited by Hardback247; 1st Apr 2024 at 16:10.

You need to test again with your newly created thd+ac3 and SUP streams. Of course MKV+thd (no ac3 core)+ASS subtitles will not deliver what you expect (no audio, no styling in subs). However your newly created m2ts mux using the newly made asset should deliver what you expect.
Personally I have a X800M2 and .TS (not .M2TS) files made with tsMuxer work from the hard drive with everything as provided (SUP, audio...).Last edited by cibo; 2nd Apr 2024 at 01:35.
