  1. I fixed this before by downloading the k-lite codec pack but that was on my old pc and I can see that there are threads on the forum advising against it.

    Ive just built a new pc and dont want to mess anything up, so Im wary of downloading it again. Anyone know of another fix for this?

    I use lav filters, but it doesn't work with mkv files. Is there a setting in the options that would resolve this.

    Also go to control panel/File Explorer Options/view/always show icons,never show bookmarks isn't checked.
