    I fell in love with the cartridge type of dvd ram lately. I'm looking to modify my current pc burner to mod it (i'm not sure that's possible) so it accept cardridges. Is there a specific model i should look for on ebay / web ?

    The one on the photo would be just fine imo

    What did you expect? I don't think I have seen a new drive that accepted cartridges for sale in close to 20 years. All of the drives I saw listed on eBay had IDE connections. The cartridges were never as popular as regular DVD-RAM media and even the production of regular DVD-RAM discs ceased in 2019.
