I am looking at acquiring a ClonerAlliance ViewLite AV device for capture of S-Video output from a VCR to MP4 file (h264). ViewLite AV device provides an S-Video input on the device which should improve video quality. The VCR I am using is a JVC SR-MV45 (DigiPure with TBC). Does anyone have experience or opinions on this workflow approach?

Wrong aspect ratio, I guess PAR has not been correctly set. Also, it either has been deinterlaced by YT, or because it is 480, 60p did not kick in. It will work for a quick "paper trail", but fails even the minimal requirements - my minimal requirements - for a half-decent YT video.
