  1. Hello all, please advise

    I am not able to capture movie above 352 x 240 resoulation using PCTV capture card. Can any body let me know the trick how to capture above 352 x 240 resolution.

    I have installed the latest pinnacle drivers from website but it would did help

    I tried AVI_IO and VDub but can not capture above 352 x 240

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  2. I have this card too,.. if it detects that the dropped frames are going to be too great then it refuses to capture.

    You need a fast processor and hdd to get higher rates.

    It's not the best card to use!

  3. user vdub and select custom format. make sure interlace is off and preview mode is selected. works great for me with this card at all settings (screen res settings that is).

  4. Orbit7 can you tell me how fast your computer is? I have PII450 MHZ and frame start dropping in VDub as soon as file size reaches to 200MB. I installed the driver from the CD came with the card and update the drivers found at Pinnacle website

    I will try the setting you mentioned but if these setting are part of http://www.geocities.com/lukesvideo then I probably tried it.

  5. Honestly dont know what lukesvideo settings are, I just read the guide to my pinnacle card(not the one on there lousy website thats for sure) but ive got an athlon 900 / 256 meg ram. 2 hd and a partridge in a pear tree.
