Audio Clipping at Random Times in Capture

My VHS captures have some audio glitching. The glitching happens at different times each capture, which is good because I can record twice, splice together the good parts, and cut out the glitchy parts. But I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what's causing this so I don't have to go through the trouble of editing the audio. I record without any other programs running on my computer, and I restart the computer before beginning, so I don't believe it's related to CPU activity. The video doesn't glitch along with the audio, it seems to be its own issue.

You mean these clicking sounds? Izotope RX does a pretty good job in their declick module.
Program is not free, but there is a free trial, fully functional.

I tried Audacity, has a built in declick, but it was strugging with your sample

Possibly due to some electrical interference in your capture chain
