    I have a bunch of videos from a DVD rip i did that have 20 sec of blank/black video at the ends. Some video players play the 20 sec of blank video some do not. It's very strange.

    I tried to edit these videos in davinci resolve 18 and guess what the blank 20 sec does not show at the end of the clips to trim it off.

    What is going on here?

    Speculating: If one of the playing audio, subtitle tracks is longer than the video, some players will black a black background while playing the audio or displaying the subtitles.
