Hello,
When burning data or video DVD or data or video Blu-ray which mode shall be used, DAO vs TAO?
There are many confusing information about DAO vs TAO on DVD and Blu-ray discs.
(not talking about CD)
Any advise please?
Thanks.

DOA = disc at once
TOA = track at once
DVD-Video, BDAV, and BDMV formats all have specs that outline this.
This can get too complicated too quickly. Easier is to tell us what you're trying to do.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

Hello @lordsmurf
Thanks, sure I know they stand for disc/track at once
I mean some software that allow these 2 for non CD discs (DVD) which one should be chosen? -
Considering Blu-ray and DVD are supposed to be only 1 data track on the disc (not counting recorders*), shouldn't make a difference as long as the disc has been properly finalized. However, experience shows that DAO has less playback issues.
*For recorders to do sequential recording, it will be doing TAO unless it takes advantage of other methods (packet, dvdram, etc).
