    Problem: Got a video file with low quality sound track. Opened the file in VSDC, exported the sound, cleaned it up in Audacity.
    Deleted the old audio, imported the new audio, then saved the new file. Enormous increase in file size. Why is that?

    I would suspect the audio format was changed when it was saved by Audacity. Since that information was not mentioned - input audio file vs output audio file. Also bit rate probably was changed.
