Combing Artifacts in Progressive Source

Any idea how to remove the combing in this progressive video?

First of all, it is not progressive. If you bob or separate fields you see a pattern of three progressive frames followed by two interlaced frames. Since the original was shot on film, it should have been detelecined rather than deinterlaced. It also should have been resized after doing the IVTC.

I've shown before how to get rid of the horizontal bars (they are not interlacing) which result from this improper resizing:
