  1. Hi could a myffmpeg user explain how to enable hardware acceleration. I don't have much luck with support because they don't explian things very well and give cryptic responces. When I asked this question they said to go to Advanced/Hardware accelerated not much help there where is that.

I system should be capable of quicksync and nvenc but no idea how to enable it.

    Thanks.

I've never used those options, but a Google search for "myffmpeg hardware acceleration", displaying images, will show you where those options are.

  3. I don't really use it but here you go: Load the video -> Advanced Options -> Edit
These guys could really give you a better support. Shame.

Hey, i havent ued this program, but normally it can be found somewhere in the settings or just straight up on the interface. Im not sure if the MyFFMpeg come with LAV Filters or use it as an part of the program, if it does you can find settings for Hardware Accelration, Intel Quick Sync and many more within the LAV Filter Video utility.

Ellse if youre unhappy with MyFFMpeg you could check out FFMpegGUI (v.2.2.7 Rev 2019-02-11) it come included with 64bit and 32bit version of FFMpeg and allso H.264/AVC+H.265/HEVC with either libx264/libx265 or optionally choose nVidia GPU (NVENC) for H.264+H.265..

I cant find any other setting to just activate hardware accelration unluckily but the nVidia GPU thing is there to choose as video codec for both H.264 and H.265 and allso an option to activate to read the input video into in RealTime mode..

Edit: There is some newer versions allso of FFMpegGUI, could be working allso!

Maybe the little gear icon at the top right of the UI. Or maybe in the video codec settings. Their "tutorial" shows a picture of the dialog box:
