hi, I'm tryin my hand at making karaoke VCD's and I ain't all that computer literate...

my question here is, what have you found to be the simplest, freeware/free karaoke program (if there is one?)

I don't really need expert, totally snasy kind of lyrics moving across the screen (although it would be nice)... i just want something that works...

also, 2nd question is,
I've got some Music Videos in .mpeg format... Is there a way to devocalise the Music Video (and if possible which program)... or would it just be better to find an instrumental version of the song (in .mp3, .wav, etc) and join them using Tmpg ?
