Latest Midomser Murders Episodes

Really confused with Midomser Murders.

For years, it always showed on ITV in the uk but for some reason it aint anmore.
However the tv tracking site next-episode reported that they have now started showing again, with the latest episode airing on the 4th December

From a quick google it seems as though Acorn TV is showing, however even more strangely it appears to be only available in the USA
I did find this link, but can't get it to work in the uK.

It's to do with the deal between ITV and Acorn. Acorn get the rights to show them in the US from certain dates. For years it meant that ITV always showed them first and then they appeared on Acorn.

When covid hit, ITV started really messing around with shows such as Midsomer Murders and Vera and didn't show them when they were supposed to (Vera especially). Fortunately, they had already agreed the dates with Acorn and couldn't just change them so Acorn ended up showing them before ITV.

Vera, for example, was shown on Acorn many months before ITV as for some reason ITV held them back.
