  1. can anyone advise what would be the best way to remove the title/name of all subtitles.

I was going to use mkvpropedit but i dont see the option to mass do it.

subs currently look like this. There are over 20 subs i need to do this to and like hundreds of videos so modding 1 subtitle track at a time is going to take forever.

NOTE: I am doing this on a linux headless machine.

    HTML Code:
    Text #1
    ID : 1
    Format : UTF-8
    Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8
    Codec ID/Info : UTF-8 Plain Text
    Duration : 25 min 2 s
    Bit rate : 68 b/s
    Count of elements : 252
    Stream size : 10.6 KiB (0%)
    Title : Subtitle 1
    Language : Turkish
    Default : No
    Forced : No

    Text #2
    ID : 2
    Format : UTF-8
    Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8
    Codec ID/Info : UTF-8 Plain Text
    Duration : 25 min 2 s
    Bit rate : 71 b/s
    Count of elements : 251
    Stream size : 11.1 KiB (0%)
    Title : Subtitle 2
    Language : Czech
    Default : No
    Forced : No
and i want them to look like this.
    HTML Code:
    Text #1
    ID : 1
    Format : UTF-8
    Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8
    Codec ID/Info : UTF-8 Plain Text
    Duration : 25 min 2 s
    Bit rate : 68 b/s
    Count of elements : 252
    Stream size : 10.6 KiB (0%)
    Language : Turkish
    Default : No
    Forced : No

    Text #2
    ID : 2
    Format : UTF-8
    Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8

This machine is headless so there is no GUI option.

Does JMkvpropedit have a commandline option?

It does have a GUI. You need JAVA and run the "JMkvpropedit.jar" file

I am looking for options that dont need a GUI as the machine doing the work is headless and is accessed via command line.
