  3. Example 1

Windows and it will default to VLC Player

    Code:
    streamlink.exe "https://kocedt.lls.pbs.org/out/v1/6c52b56053f6439bab4ccd9b59c15e75/dash-drm.mpd" best --ffmpeg-dkey "793f5cacc13b5b0d136456ea30c767e0"
    Example 2
Ubuntu and it will assign port 1032

    Code:
    nohup streamlink "https://kocedt.lls.pbs.org/out/v1/6c52b56053f6439bab4ccd9b59c15e75/dash-drm.mpd" best --ffmpeg-dkey "793f5cacc13b5b0d136456ea30c767e0" --hls-segment-threads 5 --player-external-http --player-external-http-port 1032 &
end result will look like this

    Code:
    http://Server IP Address:1032/

Is it an online input that need to be fixed/re-routed to an other url? i mean for example input source is an adress (which you add the key to validate the connection) and this must be "rerouted" to the external port on to an ubuntu server? Is it not possible to just create an video file with input stream adress and output stream location and in the same place you put the key where it ask for "Key" and double click the file and it will stream the source to this adress?

Edit: Have tested the VLC Media Player? 1. Open Network Stream 2. Add the url to the source 3. Select Stream on the arrow instead of clicking Play 4. Select new Destination and select the protocol support by ubuntu server 5. Select Transcoding....

It was an long time ago i tested this, the version i tried had options to put the key allso somewhere, doesnt look like this newer version function the same way! If the source is then DRM protected by default it should not be impossible to get it going anyway assuming youre the viewer and have an access key!

I dont know much about Streamlink, seem a bit unreliabe to use an command line to allow/open connections to transfer data streams, maybe better to use an well built graphical interface with combability with other security functions in the operating system to launch and manage the connection as it is easy to assume one would want the support of all security functions that the operating system have to offer to monitor and protect the computer system in real time!

If it is not working, as maybe it should, some cigarette lighters does not work as intended for some people either, still somehow for an other person it work just fine!
