    hi all im new to this vcd stuff but could anyone tell me if there is a way to test the quality of a movie file before it is completely d/loaded as a few of my files have been corrupted and very poor quality please help tks

    what you can do is find the file you are currently downloading..then copy it to another folder...you should be able to play it even if it's incomplete (if it's .mpg...dunno if you can play incomplete .avi)

    you can use the divx player from divxnetworks to play incomplete avis

    I know for a fact (if you have the codecs) that with Virtual Dub, you can play incomplete avi's, mpgs and asf (if you have an older version of VD).
