    Hello Everyone,

I have been having issues editing footage off of my drone using Davinci Resolve. As soon as I make any changes (color grading is worse) the video starts to flicker. The flicker is present on the exported video as well. The original clip is fine and plays fine on my computer. Footage is recorded on a DJI Mavic 3 Cine in 5.1k Apple ProRes 422. Some clips also get a pink and white flashing bar at the very top of the screen, if I crop the video it goes away, but the flickering gets worse. I am filming outside in sunlight so there is no LED light source. The flickering is primarily black, but sometimes white. This seems to be a common problem with Davinci since 15, but there never seems to be a solution. My footage is useless edited as the software is essentially destroying the rendered file.

    Any suggestions?

Sometimes an video codec that come along with an program is not installed so it would play/be used by the video player, or the alternative the video player is not the type of video player that "collect" all type of codecs that are installed on the computer, when this happens the video sometimes display flickering or theese weird colors show up all over the place..

Edit: Is the video codec, that is used by this program installed onto the computer to that the video player can use it? If no, install this codec. Allso check if the video player is even capable of using such an codec. I think ive seen this happen allso when encoding from one codec into the same codec as it was from the start. Switching to an other codec made it all fine!

The colors and flickering are all present in Davinci Resolve. I am using VLC player to play the rendered files. I also have POT player which does the same thing. Do I need a special codec for Davinci Resolve to be able to edit the files? The same problem is present with smaller 4k/60 files off of a DJI Mini 3 pro.

Seems to have been resolved by rolling back one release.
