Use the -a switch with yt-dlp and have a pre-loaded list of urls from YouTube, one on each line, in a file called batchfile.txt. See yt-dlp --help for more details

Does it work for other streaming services? Can it download YouTube playlists?

  4. Yes and yes. Please visit the github "Home page" of the project (https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp) and read the README.md which is shown right below the code explorer.

    What? Haven't you experimented yet?

Yt-dlp batch facility will work for ANY valid url that is within the scope of yt-dlp's service. If yt-dlp will download it so will the batch command.
    Suck it and see.
