Hi all. I've been trying to extract the text from the subtitles built in to some 30 minute mkv files using Subtitle Edit. It has worked, but only for the last xx minutes of a video. Sometimes it works for the last 8 or 9 minutes, sometimes it's about 20 minutes, etc. But it's always missing a big chunk of the beginning.
Any advice?

Are you trying to extract the subs themselves or just the text? Not sure exactly what you are trying to do.

Maybe there's something wrong with SE. You can try to demux the subtitle with gMKVExtractGUI (requires MKVToolNix) and see if there's a difference.

Sounds like you have a very slow computer that can't keep up the work,i loaded a mkv with a sub and subtitle extracted the whole sub with no issues. What's your specs?
