  1. I haven't found any information on this, but is it possible to change the main video on an existing DVD-Menu?
I have a video and an existing Menu from a retail DVD.
Can I change what happens if I press "Play"?
Can I change the main movie for another video?
    thanks for any help.

    Yes, you can.

Prepare the new Titleset to be added using MuxMan (add all audio and subtitle streams). It multiplexes your assets into a "dummy" DVD.
Then you use VobBlanker to replace the current target PGC of that button with the Titleset of that dummy DVD.

  3. Can I also add/change the "intro" video (like Warner Home Video)?

Yes, changing it works the same way.

However, if there is no intro already, you would have to edit the navigation commands to play the added intro using PgcEdit, which can be a bit tricky for beginners.

  5. What about the "language change menu"? It doesn't work after the "dummy DVD transfer"

Menus are more complex to replace.
You would first need to export all buttons and commands in PgcEdit (there is a single command for that) and re-import them after replacing with VobBlanker to regain the menu funtionality.
If the menu has more than one Cell, for example to make the buttons appear after a short intro, even more editing in PgcEdit would be required.

Edit: I probably misunderstood you. If you meant the language menu no longer works after replacing the main movie, in PgcEdit check the Pgc of the main movie by double clicking on it (from the table on the left) and see if the audio attributes are correct.
