Ripping encryped streams? How on earth do they do it?

Not asking for help to steal any specific broadcasters streams, as I know that's probably against the terms and conditions here, so just seeking to enlighten myself here.

These pirated IPTV providers often carry channels, that would appear to be the offical online streams

How are they are able to strip such heavy encryption?

I doubt that those pirates have access to commercial grade streaming software which would allow their streams to be rebroadcasted.

Mostly xtream-codes or one of the many varients

The drm stuff is done various ways then passed to an IPTV panel like xc , xcui , etc. And restreamed

they bypass it with custom software.
