Using:
I assumed ffmpeg would adjust at least the container fps to 50fps, but I get:Code:ffmpeg -y -r 50/1 -i "G:\TestClips&Co\files\ProRes\ProRes4444.mov" -c copy -r 50/1 -map 0:0 -map 0:1 -f mov "G:\Output\passthrough.mov"
I'm pretty sure this did work a few years ago, but I can't find anything that indicates how to do this with ffmpeg otherwise (no reencoding) or why it's not working.Code:General Count : 347 Count of Never have managed to get this to work in ffmpeg. The generally excepted method was to demux, and then remux at the new framerate. This works, but causes issues with timestamps. Whilst the output plays in MPC-HC, and VLC. I could never import into Avidemux without the timestamps being repaired first, which required re-encoding to save.
I now change the framerate in tsMuxer. Outputting to .m2ts, I then change the container to suit in Avidemux, or ffmpeg.
The above only affects the video stream. Audio remains unchanged.
