I was just over at Tubi TV. It seems they want you now to sign up to watch videos. Should one set up an account to watch Tubi TV U.S. and one for Canada as well as sometimes one has content the other doesn't?

It must have been something fleeting as now it is as usual; no need to sign up.

I notice a new version of the program is now available.

May I ask Where you have hola-proxy.exe placed,.... I have it placed within my freevine_1.1.1 folder. (also the version supplied is the same as the one i got from github.
Does it need to be manually ran? Thanks chaps for all your help.

I have upgraded to the newest version and I am giving Hola a try. Plex is working fine with Nord VPN. I have a text file with my CBC log in credentials so hopefully that works out well.

Update: I think this is dependent on movie by movie. Some seem to throw the error where as some don't. What is the reason for this?

Apologies for pushing another version so soon, but there were a few issues that had to be fixed.

The "Video quality unavailable. Please select another resolution" has been fixed and things should work correctly now.

The error's been fixed for Plex. Some movies and shows don't have subtitles, which is why it stopped. Should be working properly now.

If you've created service specific config and profile files, they won't be overwritten if you just paste the new version over the top, as they don't exist by default anyway. If you've modified the main config.yaml file and want to keep those settings, then keep a copy of it and compare to the new config version & update accordingly. Actually, just checking the changelog from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 the config.yaml doesn't appear to have been changed anyway, so won't need updating. You can keep the one you have if you choose to.

One of the main reasons to use Github is to use it with Git, so that's what I'd recommend everyone to use. And maybe Github desktop if you're more comfortable with a GUI.

You clone the repository to a local freevine folder on your system:

You can then fetch and merge new updates directly from the repository without having to mess around with .zip files.

Thanks but I'm now getting the following error for the Tubi download, maybe I need to update my python install? I tried running a python requirements reinstall but no dice. Also tested deleting the profile.yaml file from services no dice.

I redid my set up of "Freevine V.1.1.3" and I got my CBC login and password to work. I kept thinking make a text file and drop it in the folder. Then I saw that wasn't working and I copied the text dropped into Freevine cmd window and pressed enter and it set itself up. Then I tried to get a video and it didn't work then I realized I had my VPN set on U.S. and then I set it for Canada and it is working fine.

I have been able to work with hola proxy but I need guidance for CWTV and of course ROKU. Plex is working wonderfully for me. I also got to test a download over at Pluto TV U.S. for an episode of "Gunsmoke" to see how that goes.

Thank you stabbedbybrick for this terrific program. Thank you to everyone who has helped me to learn how to work with this program and for other stuff here at VideoHelp. I hope people learn from me as I muddle through.

I just did a test and when parsing the streams there is no audio to download. Regardless I am hopeful there is a solution as this episode had terrible lip sync problems. But beyond that I am happy with all that I have been able to get successfully with this downloader and I am thankful that stabbbedbybrick made this program.

Hi stabbedbybrick, thanks for the update.
I clone the git and tried downloading again.
It works, muxes the final file etc, but throws up these errors afterwards.

Spectrumhsm: Thank you for doing this test. I stopped my test when I saw that no audio was downloading and must have overlooked the line you pointed out. I will do a complete test as soon as my Sister is done with her Zoom Meeting. My Internet is DSL and is not all that fast so it is best to let her have her meeting without slowing it down to a crawl on her computer.

I downloaded the video and it turned out just fine. The audio is now in sync with the video. Thank you stabbedbybrick and to you as well.
