UKTV Play has become U today.
So to get UKTV/U working again

open up where you have installed freevine.

Go to the following folder:

freevine/utils/settings

Open up 'services.json' with your favourite text editor.

Go to line 146:

Change:

    "uktvplay.co.uk": {

to:

    "u.co.uk": {

Click save.

U/UKTV will work again.

It's not encrypted, and not of the same dimensions so kinda shitty to mux, so if you want it why not just pull it separately?

Would have to mess around with FFmpeg (not sure how to mux Video/JPEG = cover art/ thumbnail/artwork into MP4 Container)
and I thought N_m3u8DL-RE would be able to do so for me, selecting the right option ...

Quick search point out to:

ffmpeg -i sample.mp4 -i sample.png -map 0 -map 1 -c copy \
       -disposition:v:1 attached_pic sample_w_artwork.mp4

So looks like MP4 container supports cover art/ thumbnail/artwork....

Start your Python setup, click on Modify and select "py launcher"
after Next check "Associate files with Python" and Install

arf error merge mkv

Missing (or outdated?) mkvmerge <= click for dl
put mkvmerge in freevine dir (or in %path%)

Otherwise change in config.yaml
muxer: ffmpeg

not install MKVToolNix in any freevine subdirectory

Please don't make it more complicated than necessary ..
.. you need only to copy mkvmerge.exe + ffmpeg.exe in the same directory as freevine.py

et voilà - c'est si simple
