    Hi,

    Thanks for your advice.

Please advise how to check TBC/DNR and S-Video out on its manual? Thanks

    Regards

Look at the menu screenshots in the manual, It should show TBC ON/OFF, DNR ON/OFF, Some have a full size S-Video socket, later ones use special pigtails out of a 3.5mm jack for composite, Y-C and stereo audio, These can be found in the connection diagram section.

Again, as I said already, You need a different camcorder, Hi8 or Digital8. I'm not aware of video8 camcorder with line TBC and S-Video out.

    Hi,

My problem is that most sellers reject "RETURN" term.

Now I found following PAL Sony Camcorder:
Sony PAL CCD-TR820E PAL Hi8 8mm Video8 Camcorder VCR Player Video Transfer
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/125784014701?hash=item1d494fbf6d:g:VdcAAOSwOgZj9Ue0&amdata=en...Bk9SR4zw-ezUYg

    This seller accepts 30days RETURN

Now I attached its manual and the screenshot of TBC (p-35) here

Would this Camcorder be suitable for me?

Please advise before I contact the seller to clarify other details. Thank.

    Regards

How about a simple text search in the manuals for "TBC", "DNR" .... etc. ??

  9. Next you will need a decent external "digitizer" for this camera to do the conversion from analog to digital. Something like Hauppauge USB-live2 or I/OData GV-USB2 or equivalent.

    This item ? Thanks

Hauppauge 610 USB-Live 2 Analog Video Digitizer and Video Capture Device
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/223687083029?hash=item3414ca0415:g:CzAAAOSw-qNdkdZF&amdata=en...Bk9SR97Q-PHUYg

The most important thing is to get a good quality Hi8 PAL Camcorder. Otherwise I have no solution.

    Regards

  12. Yes, for example. But the price seems crazy. Buy from Hauppauge directly.
You find a lot of information about capturing options and devices in this forum.
