  1. Dear,

Can someone help me with a video probem: when the actors (or camera) moves on screen, they go right out of his forms. (I don't know the right name of this kind of problem: ghosting effect/out of picture problem).

You see a few examples here below.

Is there someone who can help me with this problem (for example: with a video-editing program: i have Shotcut, Avidemux, …), a tv imagesetting, or something else)

Please let me know and you get my eternal gratitude 😊

    Thanks

    Dranes

  2. That's temporal ghosting, probably from a temporal noise reduction filter. Are the files directly from the camera like that? Or just after your processing?

Upload a sample from your camera (do not reencode).

  3. Hi jagabo,

    Thanks for your reply.

The problem is actually that the footage is of the original and I would like to edit it (with a video editor or another way) to get that ghosting out.

You can fix it to some extent, but not completely. Ghosting alone can often be fixed, nearly completely. From your sample images I suspect you'll only be able to fix maybe 3/4 of it -- ie, some ghosting and other artifacts will still be visible. You'll have to upload a sample of the original video.

3/4 is good, here (in attachment) is the sample you asked for, i hope it will work

  8. It's not exactly what I was expecting but a moderate spacial and temporal filtering gets rid of a lot of it. You lose some detail too though. This was done in AviSynth:

    Code:
    LWLibavVideoSource("Sample.mkv")
    KNLMeansCL(d=1, a=2, h=4)
    SMDegrain(thsad=500, tr=2, PreFilter=3)

  9. Jagabo,

That is actually good enough for me but would you maybe have an alternative user-friendly video programme because Avisynth looks difficult to me to install.

  10. I don't know what other programs are suitable. Look for temporal and spacial noise reduction filters in whatever programs you use. StaxRip uses AviSynth and lets you modify the script to your liking.
