  1. Folks, I have a problem with rendering in Sony Vegas 13 Pro for the android.

I'm taking the vertically videos via my phone without changing any video and audio options.
On PC BEFORE and after rendering it looks like this: https://i.ibb.co/6DnfbJ3/Clipboard01.jpg

After I upload it to any of my android phones it looks like this: https://i.ibb.co/QbLdmRw/Clipboard02.jpg

I tried to change the codec, frame and bit rate and frame size but nothing helped.
My Android keep showing me this small videos regarding of parameters i chose.

Please advise what's wrong as on PC everything looks good.

Post here a short sample of your source.
It looks as if the problem is related to other project settings rather than those other items you mentioned

  5. Just following occam's razor approach, most simple cause, it would be: you have project settings set as wide (16:9 or something), then importing a video in it that is vertically oriented. When exporting, it is a proper wide video with a content in the middle, pillarboxed (two black pillars left and right). But if viewing on vertical screen you get what you got a specialty -> letterbox of pillarbox .
Resolution (if that is the case): Load that video of yours into a Vegas project properties with the same width and height as you image is, also make sure your export is set with the same width and height.

Just rule that one out, if it is not the case.

Easy way to check exactly what your video looks like: open it in VLC Player, then drag one of the VLC window sides in until the video itself starts reducing in size. Stop there. Any visible black sides or top/bottom have been burnt into the video during the encoding process and that is causing your problem.

That explains the display on your phone. The burned-in black side bars are stopping the vertical expansion of the actual video. There is nothing wrong with your phone/Android.

I don't use Vegas so can't help with specifics, but based on other video editors I've used, you'd have to set up a project of 1080x1920, 9:16 ratio and make sure you exported to that as well.
