Okay, so I had issues with AVC last time. This time Xmedia Recode won't even burn-in the subtitles. The videos seem to convert just fine, mp4 to mp4. I can play the videos. I'm not sure why this problem just popped up. Does Xmedia use ffmpeg that's stored somewhere in the Windows folders? Or does it use its own?

That's exactly what I did. I even did it 3 times with 2 different videos.

no, and besides MP4s can't use soft subtitles, I don't think.

They can, it gets converted to timed text. So you should atleast have got that

what tabs? There's just File, View, Options at the top, and the left column isn't much different.
But I have tried a newer version of XMR last night and that works properly. It just seems like AVC and XMR work at first but then over time they stop working properly. Maybe somehow my computer is messing with how these programs function.Windows 10, MPC-BE
