  1. Okay, so I had issues with AVC last time. This time Xmedia Recode won't even burn-in the subtitles. The videos seem to convert just fine, mp4 to mp4. I can play the videos. I'm not sure why this problem just popped up. Does Xmedia use ffmpeg that's stored somewhere in the Windows folders? Or does it use its own?

  2. Write exactly what is not working and post a mediainfo report (text mode) of your video here.

To burn in subs using XMR, do not import the subs from the subtitle tab,
instead load the subtitle filter on the filters/preview tab and load the external subs from there

  9. I must have selected the wrong thing or something. But the subtitles were not in the list when I viewed it with MPC BE. I'm not sure what to do.

Use mediainfo in text view to see all the file details.
If you're interested in solving it post a screen shot of each of the tabs

  11. what tabs? There's just File, View, Options at the top, and the left column isn't much different.

But I have tried a newer version of XMR last night and that works properly. It just seems like AVC and XMR work at first but then over time they stop working properly. Maybe somehow my computer is messing with how these programs function.
