Hi all,
I have an avi file (which appears not to be DIVX since it won't play in my DIVX player) which when played in media player runs too fast. To clarify, the audio track runs at the correct speed but the video runs almost twice as fast. I opened the file in audiodub & it says it has a framerate of 12,500 fps. I've tried converting these type of files before & whilst TMPGE will produce a fully working VCD compatable MPEG for me the picture becomes very blocky & almost unwatchable during rapid movement scenes. Has anyone got any suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated.

it's definitely a codec issue, i would say
have you exported it in vdub to another format with a set framerate?... this copy of me hasn't been registered for the last 36 years! (no spamming please)
