question help friend sell second hand gas bolier any shops who buy it

hi i have got a question i need to ask

does anyone know of any people who buy second hand boilers in the uk

cos a friend of mine is going all electric the friend of mine had all the gas pipes taken out by a gas man. the gas man put the gas boiler in my friends shed with a white cover over the gas boiler. my friend has only had it for about 7 months and it is in very clean condition with no marks on it. and my friend is trying to sell his used boiler it is fully working. it is the lastest type of gas bolier. my friend has tried facebook but only found people who fix them not to buy them. so does anyone know of any shops or people maybe who buy a used/second hand bolier that is fully working. or is the only way to scrap it at local scrap yard were you take metal stuff and they weigh it and give you money for it.

I had an old liquid fuel tank that was stored here but no one would take it. Finally found a auto junk yard that took it. He would not give me any money for it.

That's in the U.S. but I think you will have the same issue.
